LOROŅA FAMILY

Part 1

Santiago Loroña and his wife, Bernadine Ortiz Loroña, settled in Florence with their family around 1897. They had three boys when they arrived; Santiago Loroña, Jr., born August of 1887, Pablo Loroña, born June 9th, 1892, and Augustin Loroña, born November 21st, 1896, all born in Tucson, Arizona. In the year 1900, the month of February, their first daughter was born in Florence and was named Rita Loroña. In the year 1904, the month of March, their second daughter was also born in Florence and was named Aurora Loroña. All the family was Catholic.

Santiago Loroña, Jr. married Virginia Figueroa Loroña from Mammoth, Arizona. Pablo Loroña married Dorothy ( a German women, but can't remember her last name) from Casa Grande, Arizona. Augustin Loroña married Mary Emma Belle of California. Rita Loroña married Facundo Montaño of Florence. Aurora Loroña married Ramon Verdugo of Mammoth, Arizona.

All family members moved to Los Angeles, California between 1921 and 1923 and are deceased.

Part 2

The family of Santiago Loroña, Jr. live in California and are the following:

1.Louise Loroña married Robert Iberria of Superior, Arizona. They have one daughter, Norma Casio, who has two children. Her two children are John Casio and Dee Dee Casio. She also has one grandson. They all live in Whittier, California.

2.Virginia Loroña Ortiz (husband Louis Ortiz deceased) is living in Whittier, California and has two daughters and six grandchildren.

3.Tony Loroña married Tillie Fierros and had two daughters by that marriage; Rosemary Loroña and Judith Kathleen Loroña. Tillie died in 1960.

Rosemary married Tony Mitchell and has two boys and two girls. Judy married Fernando Castillo and has one boy and one girl.

Tony Loroña remarried in 1970 and now has, by that marriage, one boy, Jess, and two girls, Veronica and Caroline Loroña. There was a younger child, Ramona, who passed on in 1965.

Jess Loroña is now married to Elizabeth Feldman and has three sons. Veronica Loroña is now married to Oscar Castillo and has two sons and one daughter. Caroline Loroña is now married to Ozzie Torentino and has one son and two daughters.
