RAYMOND QUESADA FAMILY
October 7, 1995
Reverend Bryan W. Sherry, J.C.L Church Of The Assumption 221 8th. St., Box 550 Florence, AZ. 85232
Dear Father Sherry,
I hope that the 125th anniversary celebration that is being planned for the church will be successful. I don’t have too much information on my family history, but I'm sending what I have.
On my mother's side, her father's name was Jose Angel Osuna. Her mother's name was Secundina Lugo. My father's name was Ramon Quesada and my mother's name was Refugia Osuna. They had two children, Refugia Quesada and Raymond Quesada. Raymond married Josie Tellez and they didn't have any children. Refugia married Thomas McLellan Lopez and they had five children; Eleanor, Roy, Beatrice, Thomas and Alex. Refugia was born in Mazatlan, Sinaloa and Raymond was born in Florence, Arizona.
On my father's side, I have no information, as he died when I was a baby and no one ever spoke of him. My mother remarried and her second husband was Antonio Palomino.
I served in the Army, from September 1940 to July 1945, 6 months in England, 18 months in North Africa and 18 months in Italy.
Sincerely,
Raymond Quesada
