EDUCATION
The profile of this ministry emerges as one which expresses the love of God to every person.  Its inspiring model is the "Greatest Love"  ~ Jesus who on the cross gave the greatest proof of His love.  Its objective is a holistic formation of the heart.  The process involves instructing, forming and enabling persons through the modalities of formal and informal education. 
In seeking to rediscover Magdalene's insights in today's context, this ministry emphasizes 3 dimensions: 
  • the human-spiritual dimension which focuses on the individual - respecting the person's dignity as a unique child of God and fostering an awareness of his/her human and spiritual dimensions.
  • the social dimension, with an option for the least previliged, the negelected.
  • the vocational-pastoral dimension through an educative community which maintains an on-going dialogue with the family, other educational, ecclesial and social bodies.

The Canossian educator seeks to express this through a delicate blending of amiablity and firmness, familiarity and respect, gratuitousness and joy.
