| The
aim of inter-religious dialogue is to promote peace and harmony
among the various religions. We are part of the Inter-Religious
Organisation in Singapore, which was founded in 1949. It is

authority of the Organisation is vested in a Council made up of
representatives of nine religions: Hindu, Jewish, Zoroastrian,
Buddhist, Taoist, Christian, Muslim and Baha'i.

underlie all our religions and how they can contribute to peace
and harmony.
