to this first interactive edition of Canoritá.
Canoritá
exists because it has received a “thumbs-up” for its continuance from you.
It is thus with the joy of this new millennium that this bi-annual issue of
Canoritá is now presented.
Yes,
it has been some time since the last issue of Canoritá was put together. Since then some Sisters have returned to Singapore and some
others have left for various overseas commitments. Meanwhile, life in our little island continues to throb with
vibrance…
The
hustle and bustle of this year, as this issue highlights, evolves around the
renewal that our next General Chapter in 2002 will bring.
Preparations for this exciting event are clearly on its way. We've had
intensive sessions with Fr. McQuire in June and participated in Sector
discussions and Dialogue sessions involving the laity and a cross-section of our
Sisters.
Together
we pray that as we partake in this journey, God’s Spirit will enlighten and
give wisdom to the minds and hearts of each one.
May we be enriched with the bountiful gifts that God has in store for us.
