Student Government
Corpus Christi Catholic School has an active Student Government.
Student Government officers have regularly been assigned
duties for which they are responsible.
Student Government officers and cabinet members are elected in a general election
by the student body each spring. In order to run for office a student must
meet the following criteria:
All candidates must have a “B” average in both academics and conduct
for the first three quarters of the school year with no grade below a “C”.
This average must be maintained throughout the next year.
Students should show the characteristics of: positive attitude, initiative,
trustworthiness, Christian example.
Being elected to serve in Student Government is an honor and requires commitment
and enthusiasm. In order to remain in office, students must have a “B” average
in both academics and conduct with no grade below “C”.
At report card and interim times, students may be put on probation just as
our athletes are if their averages fall. If this probation period is for more
than one period, the student will give up the privilege of serving on Student
Government.
