Mission (Purpose) The purpose of the
Toledo Diocesan Catholic Committee on Scouting (TDCCS) is to
effectively implement the plan of the National Committee on Scouting
(NCCS) in the Toledo Diocese. Also, the purpose of the TDCCS is to give guidance,
direction, leadership, and vitality in the spiritual phase of
Scouting to all Catholics registered in the BSA in the Toledo
Diocese and to any Council Catholic Committees on Scouting (CCCS)
operating in the Toledo Diocese. The TDCCS may not issue by-laws,
directives, or programs that are contrary to the teachings of the
Roman Catholic Church or to the NCCS or to the Ordinary of the
Diocese of Toledo.

interested Catholic Scouters, assigned to the various standing
committees
Ex-officio Members: the director of the diocesan
department of Youth, Young Adult & Campus Ministry and the diocesan coordinator for
Catholic Girl Scout awards
