This is a really good news. There is an easy way to touch God's Heart and easily receive an ocean of His grace. Jesus has revealed it to us clearly in the following parable. Like the tax collector, we simply have to ask God humbly for His mercy: "God, be merciful to me, a sinner!"
"Two men went up to the temple to pray, one a Pharisee and the other a tax collector. The Pharisee, standing by himself, was praying thus, 'God, I thank you that I am not like other people: thieves, rogues, adulterers, or even like this tax collector ' But the tax collector, standing far off, would not even look up to heaven, but was beating his breast and saying, 'God, be merciful to me, a sinner!' I tell you, this man went back home justified rather than the other." (Lk 18:10-14)

In order to let this prayer sink in and obtain its amazing results in God's gracious transformation and our loving union with God, it seems indispensable that we pray it repetitively with all our heart. If indeed we pray this prayer long enough, it will even set our heart on fire. In fact, there is an Eastern Orthodox tradition of praying the Jesus Prayer unceasingly for a long time, repetiting: "Lord Jesus, have mercy on me a sinner!" Some Eastern hesychastic monks literally pray this prayer for quite a few hours every day.
Similarly, through Bl. Sr. Faustina, Christ has shown us how to touch the Heart of God through praying the Chapter of the Divine Mercy on the rosary beads. Just as Sr. Faustina was asked to pray this prayer unceasingly whenever possible, some of us may also be called to do so:
"First of all, you will say one Our Father and Hail Mary and the I Believe in God. Then on the Our Father beads you will say the following words: "Eternal Father, I offer You the Body and Blood, Soul and Divinity of Your dearly beloved Son, Our Lord Jesus Christ, in atonement for our sins and those of the whole world." On the Hail Mary beads you will say the following words: 'For the sake of His sorrowful Passion have mercy on us and on the whole world.' In conclusion, three times you will recite these words: 'Holy God, Holy Mighty One, Holy Immortal One, have mercy on us and on the whole world.'"(Diary 476 of Bl. Sr. Faustina)
Jesus continued accordingly, asking us to pray this prayer at least once a day:
"I remind you, My daughter, that as often as you hear the clock strike the third hour, immerse yourself completely in My mercy, adoring and glorifying it; invoke its omnipotence for the whole world, and particularly for poor sinners; for at that moment mercy was opened wide for every soul. In this hour you can obtain everything for yourself and for others for the asking; it was the hour of grace for the whole world - mercy triumphed over justice."(Diary 1572)
By definition, to obtain "mercy" means to obtain "something that we do not deserve at all". Since we sinners do not deserve anything from God, this is a really good news that we can obtain a superabundance of God's mercy and grace through this easy way! On our own we sinners clearly do not deserve anything, but living in, through and for Christ, He will supply us with every grace living in, through and for Him.
