Happy Easter! The Lord — who as Ipsum (Itself) Esse (Existence) Subsistens (Everlasting) along with God the Father and the Holy Spirit became incarnate two millennia ago — has risen. In other words,  Christ  is “is” or “existence”, i.e., “Everlasting Existence Itself”. Did Christ not say that He “is” before Abraham was born (cf. Jn 8:58)? Without the Resurrection of Uncreated Existence Itself which “holds all things together” (Col 1:17), the whole creation or created existence itself would be unable to be held together and would surely collapse, inevitably!  By Ipsum Esse Subsistents, St. Thomas Aquinas also means that God is the Perfect Existence Itself who lives in a perfect lifestyle. The process of salvation is, thus, a process in which all creatures partake increasingly in this Uncreated Perfect Existence or Happiness (cf. Summa Theologiae I-II, q. 3, a. 1). True contemplation or participation in Infinite Happiness Itself, therefore, would make us really or perfectly happy (Ibid., q. 3, a. 8). Alleluia!

(Using a 12-year-old technology [with which to design the present website] in the present computer made in Taiwan is complicated. Hence, the editor has been using the present simple-to-operate program to handle Communication. Besides being a student waiting for his examination by the end of the year, the editor is also a teacher, a writer, an assistant editor, taking different classes, practicing Mandarin with friends, swimming daily, being a member of a prayer group, attending daily Mass once or twice and making a Holy Hour every day too, etc. It seems that the editor loves God a lot. Why doesn’t he, then, become a priest? Or rather: Why doesn’t God choose him to become one? Obviously, God knows what He is doing in his life with Theology of Energy. Alleluia! Alleluia!)

For a Holy Hour: Ask for the presence of the Holy Seraphim, the rank of angelic choir closest to God in Heaven, burning with the flame of love for the all-loving Creator.

In general, there are at least five levels or attitudes in praying the Holy Rosary: 1) Praying mainly with the mouth. Although it fulfils a pious duty or devotion, one may eventually find this prayer repetitively dry and stop praying. 2) Praying with the mouth and the heart. This is a heartfelt God-pleasing devotion, a heavenly warm-up or preparation for deeper prayers. 3) Praying with the mouth, heart and mind. Some contemplation of the specific mystery of Christ should make the prayer even more meaningful and powerful. 4) Seeing the Rosary also as a continuous activation of God’s omnipresence. As God permeates all creation, every word is a means of activating His loving, peaceful  and powerful presence, for oneself and others. After 10 to 20 decades, such patient activation eventually fills one with a certain level of grace. For verification, consult someone who prays usually more than 10 or 15 decades a day. 5) Praying with a mature attitude and not to worry about unintentional distractions. One would feel a big difference, as one begins to be filled significantly with heavenly love, joy, peace, sweetness, confidence and strength, etc., for God, Our Heavenly Mother and others.

November 1   All Saints’ Day

One of the most God-pleasing prayers is: “Lord, thank you for making me a saint!”  What would happen if this prayer is truly prayed often enough every day by many or even all in the world?
