Guardian Angeles Church offers young people a variety of ways to know the Lord through
praise, service, and wholesome fun.
prayerful youth reaching out (pyro) is made up of young men and women
involved in outreach projects to the parish and to the community. The group is open to all
those in grades 9 to young adult and they meet on Sundays from 6:30 pm to 7:00. Some of their
activities include car washes, programs for children, service to the poor and homebound, and
a summer mission trip.
Mission 2006 brought the PYRO team to rural Alabama where they worked with the Sisters of St. Joseph
and with the Missionaries of St. Edmund
in the communities of Pine Apple, Vredenburg, and Furman.
Mission 2007 members spent two hot summer weeks in Phoenix, Arizona serving and ministering to
homeless and working poor.
Mission 2008 included outreach ministry to homeless and working poor in Phoenix, Arizona;
and then, to the abused and abandoned animals at the Best Friends Animal
Sanctuary in Kanab,
Utah.
teens of
guardian angels (toga) meet each week for faith-sharing, fun, and fellowship. TOGA has
a junior group for grades 6 through 8 as well as a senior group for grades 9 through 12.
Junior TOGA members meet on Tuesday evenings from 7:00 to 8:30, and senior TOGA members meet
on Sunday evenings from 7:00 to 8:30. In addition to weekly activities, TOGA members are
invited to attend retreats, youth conferences, and a variety of social outings.

youth contemporary music group are young musicians who come together to
use their talents to praise and worship God. Practice is on Saturday mornings from 9:30 to
11am

youth discipleship is a group of high-school aged youth and young
adults who are focused on peer leadership, evangelization, and discipleship. They meet on
Sunday mornings at 9:10.
