Assisting the Poor

". . . if you spend yourselves on behalf of the hungry and satisfy the needs of the oppressed; then, your light will rise in the darkness and your night will become like the noonday. The Lord will guide you always. . ." (Isiah 58, 10–11 NIV)

You are invited to avail yourselves of these opportunities to serve the poor:

  • the chuckwagon, located near the main parish office, where you can bring your non-perishable food items before Liturgy and drop them off. When the chuckwagon is full, we donate the items to the Henrietta Food Cupboard.

  • the angel tree, where you can pick up cards with a gift request from people served by various area ministries. You may then purchase the gifts, wrap them, and bring them to church for distribution.
