We're Looking for Parish Volunteers
Our Conference has been dependent on volunteers throughout the Diocese for its success since 2001 and this year is no exception. As a volunteer, you get a rare opportunity to thank the Lord in a proactive way for all He has given you and simultaneously serve your brothers in Christ. The feeling that overwhelms you, on Conference Day, when you look out at a room of a thousand men and know you were a part of making it happen, is impossible to duplicate. All your efforts bring great personal reward.
Our conference planning committee insures all our volunteers are well supported and we are committed to alleviating most of the “drudge work” associated with whatever volunteer position you might be interested in. We are always available to answer your questions, we provide bulletin inserts, posters, brochures and pulpit announcements; insure that you receive all relevant information; and keep you abreast of what is going on. Most of the work required can be done by phone and the total time expended would be less than two hours per week for three months. Volunteers are crucial, and as Bishop McManus has repeatedly said, without them there is no Conference.
Bishop McManus is committed to make the 8th Annual Worcester Diocesan Catholic Men’s Conference a success and what is essential is to find men like you who find it in their hearts to volunteer some of their precious time and talent to work with the Bishop, Msgr. Sullivan, Angelo and the planning committee. We need your help and support.
