CHILDREN'S LITURGY OF THE WORD - SUNDAYS AT 10:00 AM

We invite all children to join in the Children’s Liturgy of the Word, a special weekly, age-appropriate presentation and discussion of the day’s scripture readings. Parents are also welcome to attend with the children if they would like.  After a blessing and dismissal by the priest before the first reading during Immaculate’s 10:00 AM Mass, the children proceed out with choir music with that week`s trained adult facilitator into our sacristy to participate in this program. The program includes music, readings, discussion and usually a relevant handout with games and questions pertaining to the day`s scriptures. They rejoin the Mass after the Prayers of the Faithful.

Please join us each week for "Witnessing the Word", our parish's cable TV program produced, recorded and hosted by our parishioners. It is on Weymouth Community Access Cable Channel #10 on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 10:00 AM and 7:00 PM.

Who of us doesn't on occasion feel weary or burdened? We who are here each week are nourished by the word of God and the Bread of Life. We are sustained by Jesus' promise: "Come to me, all you who labor and are burdened and I will give you rest." What a treasure our Catholic faith is!
