From March 12 to 17, the Bishops of the Conference of Latin Bishops of the Arab Regions (CELRA) made their "ad limina" visit* to the See of Peter to reflect together with the Holy Father on the situation of the Catholic Church in the Middle East.
THE PICTURE SHOWS OUR BISHOP RECEIVING A COPY OF THE ADDRESS THE POPE GAVE TO THE CONFERENCE OF LATIN BISHOPS OF THE ARAB REGIONS (OF WHICH OUR BISHOP IS A MEMBER), DURING HIS RECENT VISIT TO THE VATICAN.
After our Bishop's private audience with the Holy Father, the Pope
gave a special blessing to the Clergy, the Religious Sisters and
Faithful of the Vicariate of Kuwait.
* "AD LIMINA" VISIT - Every five years, diocesan bishops are required to make a visit "ad limina apostolorum" (to the 'doorstep' of the apostles), to pay their respects at the tombs of the apostles, Peter and Paul, and to provide the Holy See with an accounting of their ministry during the previous 5 years.
