The Filipino Community has once again delighted us with their outstanding Christmas exhibits. Fr. Windel Pastoriza, OCD, tells us that this is the second year that we have such exhibits. Each lantern is prepared by the different Filipino groups active in the Church who animate the First Friday Masses in the Filipino Language. The materials used are merely recycled - most of it! The sizes of the lanterns are about 1 meter high. Prizes are usually given, but this year the amount will be given to charity: the constructuion of Catholic school rooms in Infanta Quezon, Philippines.
