Father Albert Saveriraj re-joined the Vicariate of Kuwait on 3 August 2008. He had earlier served in the Vicariate of Kuwait from December 2003 to January 2005.
He joined the Carmelite order in May 28, 1979. He made his First Profession on September 8, 1983 and Solemn Profession on May 27, 1990. He has written a book on St. Therese of Lisieux in Tamil titled : "Mouna Punnagaiyal".

Fr. Albert re-joined the Vicariate of Kuwait on 30 July 2008. He was assigned to the Cathedral Parish and later to the Comboni Mission Centre in Jleeb Al-Shuyoukh.
Since 29 January 2010, Fr. Albert is the Parish Priest of the newly erected St. Daniel Comboni Parish in Jleeb Al-Shuyoukh.
