Fr. Maron Souaiby was born in Bejje, Lebanon on 25th May, 1929. He did his priestly studies in Lebanon and was ordained in Bkerke, Lebanon.
Fr. Souaiby served as Pastor in the following Maronite Parishes :
From 1958 until 1961 - Ydeidet - Beirut, Lebanon
From 1961 until 1962 - Falougha, Lebanon
From 1962 until 1977 - Baabdat, Lebanon
Until April 2002, Fr. Maron Souaiby was the Pastor of the Maronite Parish in Kuwait as well as the other parishes in the Gulf. He was also the Vicar of the Maronite Patriarchate since 1979.
Fr. Maron left the Vicariate of Kuwait in April 2002.
