NOTICES & OTHER IMPORTANT SCHEDULES

  • On Fridays (mornings and evenings) and Saturdays (evenings only) the Holy Mass is that of the following Sunday.


  • On Mondays at 7.00 p.m. Bible Study Classes are conducted. Please carry your own Bible.


  • On Wednesdays, the Holy Rosary is recited at 6.00 p.m. followed by the Novena to Our Lady of Perpetual Succour.


  • On the First Friday of the month, the Holy Hour (in English) is at 4.45 p.m. and the Mass in Tagalog is at 2.00 p.m.


  • Every First Sunday of the month, the Konkani Holy Hour is at 3.00 p.m.


  • On the Third Thursday of the month, the Night Vigil begins at 10.00 p.m.


  • On the Second, Third and Fourth Friday of the month, the Mass in Malayalam (Latins) is at 4.30 p.m.


  • On the Fourth Friday of the month, the Mass in Sinhalese is at 4.00 p.m. in Room No.9, First Floor.


  • Schedule of Masses and Devotions in Tamil  is available here.


  • The NEOCATECHUMENS meet on Tuesdays at 7.00 p.m. to share the Word, and on Saturdays at 7.00 p.m. to celebrate the Holy Eucharist.


  • COMMON BAPTISM FOR INFANTS is conducted every month as follows:-

    1st Thursday --- English --- 5.30 to 6.00 p.m.
    2nd Thursday --- Konkani --- 5.30 to 6.00 p.m.
    3rd Thursday --- Malayalam --- 5.30 to 6.00 p.m.
    2nd Friday --- Arabic --- 11.30 a.m. to 12.00 noon
    3rd Friday --- English --- 11.30 a.m. to 12.00 noon
    4th Friday --- Malayalam (Syro-Malabar / Malankara) --- 11.30 a.m. to 12.00 noon


  • The FILIPINO PRE-BAPTISM SEMINAR is conducted every First Friday of the month. Please note that no scheduling for baptisms will be done unless parents and god-parents attend the seminar.


  • The MARRIAGE PREPARATION COURSE is conducted during year. Dates and Venues of the course are listed here.


  • CATECHISM CLASSES at the Cathedral are held as follows:

    Every Thursday --- First Holy Communion children --- 5.00 to 6.15 p.m.
    Every Friday --- Pre-Communion 1, 2 & 3 --- 9.00 to 9.55 a.m.
    Every Friday --- Pre-Confirmation 1 & 2 and Post Confirmation 1, 2, 3 & 4. --- 10.00 to 11.10 a.m.

  • Every First Friday of the month, Eucharistic Adoration starts at 11.00 a.m. and concludes with the evening Mass at 6.00 p.m.


  • Every second Friday of the month the Mass in Tamil is at 4.00 p.m. The Schedule for Masses and Devotions in Tamil  is available here.


  • Every last Friday of the Month the Mass in Tagalog is at 3.30 p.m.


  • Catechism Classes are held on Fridays for different classes as follows:-
    Beginners & Pre Communion (1): 8.45 a.m. to 9.45 a.m. (during Mass)
    All the other classes from 9.50 a.m. to 11.00 a.m.

  • On FIRST FRIDAYS, Holy Hour is at 6.00 p.m. followed by Mass in English at 7.00 p.m. The Malayalam Mass will be at 08.15 p.m.


  • On Wednesdays, the MALAYALAM PRAYER MEETING is at 6.00 p.m. followed by Mass in Malayalam.


  • CATECHISM CLASSES are held on Fridays from 10.00 a.m. to 11.15 a.m.(beginning from January 9, 2009 )


  • COMMON BAPTISM FOR INFANTS is conducted every month as follows:-

    Every 2nd Thursday at 5.15 P.M.
    Every 4th Friday at 11.45 A.M.


  • CONFESSIONS in the Church daily before the Mass.


  • RENEWAL OF MARRIAGE VOWS is held every 2nd Friday of the month, at the 6.30 p.m. Mass for all couples celebrating their Wedding Anniversary during that month.


  • THE SALMIYA PARISH YOUTH meet at 7.30 P.M. on the 1st and 3rd Saturday of every month. Those interested pleace contact the Church Office.
