Tour of Our Lady of Lourdes Church

The current building for Our Lady of Lourdes was contructed in the 1964-1965 period.  Join us as we show you around.

Here we can see the nave of the church.  Here we gather for our weekly liturgies and special services.  We can seat 600 worshipers.  Unlike many churches in the area, Our Lady of Lourdes has clear glass for its windows, allowing the beauty of our surroundings to be seen.

Lets go up and see the front, shall we?

Here we can see our altar.  The table of our Lord is in the center with the ambo off to the right.  You can see the top of the presider's chair behind the altar.  The song leader's podium is further to the left with seats for the altar servers.  The lector sits off to the right.

If we move over to the left we can see the grotto to our Holy Mother.

In this place of prayer, just to the left of the altar, we can see a depiction of St. Bernadette's vision of our Holy Mother at Lourdes.  This little corner offers a perfect place for prayer and reflection.
