First Communion
April 25, 2008

A First Communion Celebration was held May 18, 2008.

The class had 16 young ladies and 16 young gentlemen of the Parish. Here they are gathered with Fr. Don Manfred, pastor, and religious teachers.

Among the worship participants were who read the day’s lessons.
The Children’s Choir honored their companions by providing wonderful music.

The class had practiced a special song for the occasion to present to their families. The hymn "Jesus, You Are Bread For Us" was very appropriate.
Key people in their preparation were (l-r) Sr. Louise Genest, OSM, Mrs. Gladys Cameron, and Director Sr. Edward Marie Tesiero, SA. Fr. Don presented the ladies with a "Thank You" bouquet.
