Pastoral Outreach Ministries

All committees contacted through the Parish Office. Call 769-2469.

Comfort in Sorrow: Mindful of the pain and confusion death brings to the family of the deceased, these ministers convey the condolences of our parish family, help with the liturgy, bring a cake and card made by other volunteers. Some serve as pallbearers when the family has no one for this service. It is a support in a troubled time. For more information contact Marcia Wisner or Shirley Chambers through the Parish Office.

Blessed Mary holds Jesus.

Pastoral Outreach to the Sick & Homebound: Visiting and bringing Communion to those in their own homes, nursing homes, high rises & hospitals is one of the corporal Works of Mercy. This is an especially important ministry which maintains one's spiritual and community links with the Parish. It is greatly appreciated by the recipients of these visits. For more information contact Rita Treers and Elsie Scruggs through the Parish Office.

Mass is celebrated at the St. Regis Nursing Home.

Ministry of Mothers Sharing: Monthly adult meetings and 2nd and 4th Wednesday Children's Play Group provide fellowship, prayer, support and help to one another.

Moms & children share play time.

Social Activities Committe: These parishioners organize a variety of social events throughout the year to celebrate our life as a community. Picnics, dinners, and other gatherings, as well as a Sunday coffee/donut time after 9:30 a.m. Mass, are some events planned. For more information contact Jackie or Tom Chatterton through the Parish Office.

St. Vincent de Paul Society: This is a lay service organization made up of your friends sharing a genuine concern for the needy. Members staff the store, the pantry, make daily deliveries of food, respond to calls from law enforcement, social & religious agencies. A Thanksgiving dinner and Christmas baskets round out seasonal help. Meetings are monthly. For more information contact John Whalen through the Parish Office.

Jesus feeds fish to the crowd.
