Pastoral Outreach Ministries

All committees contacted through the Parish Office. Call 769-2469.

Comfort in Sorrow: Mindful of the pain and confusion death brings to the family of the deceased, these ministers convey the condolences of our parish family, help with the liturgy, and bring a cake made by other volunteers. Some serve as pallbearers when the family has no one for this service. It is a support in a troubled time.

An annual memorial mass in November commemorates the year's deceased parishioners.

Pastoral Outreach to the Sick & Homebound: Eucharistic Ministers visit and bring Communion to sick and elderly in homes, nursing homes, and hospitals. This is an especially important ministry which maintains the spiritual and community links with the Parish. As a Corporal and Spiritual Work of Mercy, it is greatly appreciated by the people.

Eucharistic Ministers bring weekly Communion to nursing home residents.

MOMS Ministry: Women of all ages, grounded in the Catholic faith, support each other through motherhood and on their journey of faith to God. This says it all. Monthly meetings provide fellowship, prayer and support, as well as group discussions, soup suppers plus more.

Social Activities Committe: We organize a variety of social events throughout the year to celebrate our life as a community. Picnics, dinners, and other gatherings, as well as a Sunday coffee/donut time after 9:30 a.m. Mass, are organized.

St. Vincent de Paul Society: This is a lay service organization made up of your friends sharing a genuine concern for the needy. Members staff a store and pantry, make daily deliveries of food, respond to calls from law enforcement, social & religious agencies. An Infant and Toddler Program and Gabriel Helping Hands Program support young families. A Thanksgiving dinner and Christmas baskets round out seasonal special projects. Meetings are monthly.
