Midwest Kindred Spirits is a Midwest conference of inter-congregational associate directors and associates, whose purpose is to:
- assist each other with congregational challenges
- explore ways of deepening the spiritual and prayer life of its members
- witness as a united voice through word and deed the Gospel values of justice and peace
- collaborate with other regional and national conferences for the growth and vitality for the associate movement in the Church
- serve as advocate for associate issues congregationally, inter-congregationally, and within the church
