Sunday Bible study begins a new session on September 18th at 10:30 a.m. and Tuesday Bible study will begin on September 20th at 7:00 p.m. Both classes will begin with a DVD study of "The Mass." All are welcome to join one of these groups.
All young people who have celebrated the Sacrament of Confirmation are invited to meet with Father Edgar on Sunday, September 25th in the Boogaard Hall at 10:30 a.m.
Parents are invited to attend a General Parent Session to discuss the partnership of home and religious education classes. In addition, you will receive information about the Diocese’s new curriculum guidelines and be given Parent Pages to show what your child will be learning in their particular grade level as well as age appropriate faith development and ideas for helping your children grow in their faith. Please attend ONE of the two sessions scheduled: Sunday, September 25th OR Sunday, October 2nd at 10:30 a.m. in the Church.
YOUTH GROUP OUTING
Sunday, September 25th
Youth Group is back! Rather than meet at the Hall on the 25th, we will be going to play laser tag at the Williamsburg Indoor Sports Complex. We will meet in the Church parking lot at 3:45 p.m. and leave by 4:00 p.m. Please bring $8 to cover the cost of two games. CATHOLIC CHAT is scheduled for Tuesday, September 27th at 7:00 p.m. in the Boogaard Hall.
SAVE THE DATE: October 2nd at 6:30 p.m. (in the Church) will be a time of praise and worship music, prayer and adoration of our Lord. Everyone is invited to come for an hour of AWE (Adoration, Worship and Exaltation) of Jesus!
Mass Intentions - Daily Mass is celebrated from Tuesday to Friday at 8:30 a.m. We have openings for Mass Intentions, and you are invited to call the Church office to schedule a Mass for a deceased loved one, an anniversary, a special intention, for the sick, or any other reason.

CURSILLO is a three-day retreat that is fully sanctioned by the Catholic Church and the Diocese of Richmond. The retreats are put on by lay Catholics with the assistance of clergy. Anyone in good standing with the church is eligible to attend. If you are interested in learning more about Cursillo or participating in a weekend, ask a parish member at your church who has been on a Cursillo or contact the Central Virginia Coordinating Committee at 804-794-4558. The next Cursillo women’s weekend in the Central Virginia area is scheduled for October 13-16, 2011 at the Abbey. The next Cursillo men’s weekend is scheduled for February 16-19, 2012 at Shalom House.
