LITTLE SPROUTS

Our Preschool classes had a busy, fun-filled October.  Highlights included a visit to the fire station at the end of our fire safety learning unit and Halloween activities.  Thank you to Daniel Duke's grandparents for donated pumpkins for each child to find one to take home from our "pumpkin patch."  The Caterpillar class carved a Jack-O-Lantern.  The Cricket class baked a pumpkin and also enjoyed pumpkin muffins.  Both classes scooped out the pulpy-goo inside of the pumpkins.  FUN!  Of course, we also enjoyed coming to school in costumes for Halloween and enjoyed tasty classroom parties.  Even our staff dressed up;  we were a jack-o-lantern, a pet dog, a friendly witch, and a British woman named Mrs. Biddlebox (it went with a story).  Fun for All!

In November, we continue with our alphabet letters Ee and Ff, learn about autumn and Thanksgiving, and collect non-perishable foods for the Good Neighbor Center.  Our Bible concept for the month is:  I can pray to God and thank Him for His goodness.  Our Bible verse is "God has been good to me."  Genesis 33:11

    Happy Thanksgiving from Preschool!

Look for updates about the preschool throughout the year.
