CATHOLIC LINKS

Catholic Culture  Trinity Communications has been putting Catholic material on the Internet since the early 1990s. In 2001, users of our previous site (PetersNet) expressed a desire to apply our resources to daily family life. In response, the Trinity staff began assembling resources to help Catholics live the liturgical year in the home.

Catholic Exchange  Catholic Exchange is a non-profit charity endeavoring “to evangelize the world via the Internet with the Good News of Jesus Christ in the Catholic Church in obedience to Pope John Paul II's call for a ‘Springtime of World Evangelization.’ This is in response to the need for greater catechesis and revival of the lay faithful in a time when materialism and relativism are marginalizing Biblical principles as the basis on which people make moral choices.” This is a very well designed site that is easy and fun to use. The columnists are some of the Church’s most well respected authors. The is a wide variety of resources makes this site well worth a visit.

Catholic Online  Catholic Online is one of the largest Catholic internet operations in the world, and has been recognized internationally. A great deal of Catholic information is provided, and many outstanding organizations are hosted on the Catholic Online servers. This is a good resource that would be even better if consistent editorial judiciousness was used to root out the weaknesses that make it necessary to approach some of its resources with caution.

Divine Mercy Inc.  Founded by the Carmelite Nuns in Buellton, California, Divine Mercy Inc. is a California, Religious, Non-profit Corporation established for the purposes of offering prayer and reparation to God and to bring the knowledge of God’s love and mercy to peoples of every religious tradition or ethnic background.

Knights of Columbus  This is the official Knights of Columbus web site, developed and promoted by the Supreme Council. The Knights of Columbus was founded in 1882 and is now the largest lay organization in the Catholic Church..  The site includes some excellent resources of general Catholic interest, but it is oriented primarily towards the specific needs of members and prospective members of the Knights of Columbus.

The New American Bible  An online version of the New American Bible

New Advent  This site is published by a Colorado-based nonprofit organization whose goal is to provide resources for those desiring to know more about the Catholic Faith. The main feature of this great site is an online, indexed, fully searchable version of the Catholic Encyclopedia. However, the resources by no means end there. The site also contains full text versions of many encyclicals and other church document, a large directory of faithful Catholic links, summaries of each of the ecumenical councils of the Catholic Church, dozens of questions excerpted from Catholic Answers' This Rock magazine, and much more. This site is truely one of the best Catholic resources on the web.
