EXTRAORDINARY MINISTERS OF COMMUNION

PLEASE NOTE THESE CHANGES: Extraordinary Ministers, as of Easter 1999, will now wait until coming forward until the "Lamb of God" and stand along side the Lector and then kneel with all at the Elevation of the Eucharist. This means that they will no longer be in the processional with the Priest, Lector, and Servers. They are, instead, to come up at the "Lamb of God," and stand next to the Lector. After communion place Hosts on altar and return to kneeler. Do not give Communion to non-Catholics or to Catholics who cannot receive (e.g. below the age, or to a Catholic notorious for unrepentant grave sin or scandal.) The is also, a new formation for distributing communion.
Communion will now be distributed along the side aisles unless the Priest is alone wherein he will stand in the center of the church. Thank you!
