SSPJ Faculty and Staff

Msgr. Corona, MA, KHS

Msgr. Corona is the Pastor of SPSJ Church. He is Executive Director in the Diocese of Metuchen.

Ellen Ayoub

Mrs. Ayoub is the Superintendent of Schools for the Diocese of Metuchen.

Adele Ellis

Mrs. Ellis is an Assistant Superintendent in the Diocese of Metuchen.

Dr. Nancy Gilroy

Dr. Gilroy is an Assistant Superintendent in the Diocese of Metuchen.

Sr. Sheila Conley, SCH

Sr. Sheila is an Assistant Superintendent in the Diocese of Metuchen.

TEACHERS

Mrs. Bolcar

Mrs. Bolcar is a graduate of Drexel University. She now teaches first grade at SSPJ.

Mrs. Budd

Mrs. Budd graduated from Trenton State College. She is now our Language Arts teacher in the upper grades and 6th Grade Homeroom teacher. This year, she will also be teaching Religion classes for 6th and 7th grades. She also teaches the Public Speaking elective.

Mrs. Cicalese

Mrs. Cicalese graduated from West Chester University. She loves teaching Physical Education and the Dancercise elective at SSPJ.

Miss Dalrymple

Miss D. is a graduate of The College of New Jersey. She has been the Computer Technologist at SSPJ for five years. Miss D. works closely with the teachers and classes to integrate all available technology to its fullest capacity. She restores hardware, installs software, troubleshoots, and instructs with the teachers on a daily basis. Miss D. also does her best to keep the SSPJ webpage updated. With help from the Phillipsburg School District, she keeps the fiber-optic network running in high-gear, adding new computers every chance she gets!

Mrs. Dean

Mrs. Dean graduated Seton Hall University. She has taught grade 4 at SSPJ, and is joining grade 3 this year.

Mrs. Dertinger

Mrs. Dertinger is a graduate of St. John's University. She has previously taught second grade at SSPJ. Mrs. Dertinger has been selected to be included in the 10th edition of Who's Who Among America's Teachers 2005/2006. She was recommended for this honor by a former student who feels she made a difference in his or her life. This year, Mrs. Dertinger will be heading into Pre-K.

Miss Graham

Miss Graham graduate the University of Louisville. She has taught fourth grade at SSPJ and is now teaching Science to the upper grades along with a 4th and 5th grade lab, and the Forensics elective. This year she will be the 7th Grade Homeroom teacher.

Mrs. Korp

Mrs. Korp is a Georgian Court graduate. She has taught Pre-K at SSPJ and has returned to 1st Grade this year!

Mrs. Kucinski

Mrs. Kucisnki is a graduate of Stockton State College and Centenary College. This is her second year teaching grade 3. Prior to this, she taught Kindergarten.

Mrs. Morris

Mrs. Morris is a graduate of Columbia University. She is currently teaching Kindergarten.

Mrs. Nicolosi

Mrs. Nicolosi is a graduate of Saint Leo College. She teaches fifth grade at SSPJ.

Mrs. O'Sullivan

Mrs. O'Sullivan holds a Ph.D. in American History from New York University. At SSPJ she is teaching Social Studies to the upper grade classes, as well as a supplemental Creative Writing class to grades 3 - 8 and a Reading Circle elective. She is also the 8th Grade Homeroom and Religion teacher.

Mrs. Sharkey

Mrs. Sharkey is a Trenton State College graduate. She teaches our second grade classes.

Mrs. Sholly

Mrs. Sholly is a graduate of Kutztown University. She is fourth grade teacher at SSPJ. Mrs. Solly has also been selected to be included in the 10th edition of Who's Who Among America's Teachers 2005/2006. She was recommended for this honor by a former student who feels she made a difference in his or her life.

Ms. Spence

Ms. Spence graduated from the University of Maryland. She is our Spanish Language Culture teacher for all grades.

Miss Thomas

Miss Thomas is our Music Teacher and Band and Choir Director at SSPJ School. She has vast experience and a degree from East Stroudsburg University.

Miss Veal

Miss Veal graduated William Patterson College. She is the Art teacher for all grade levels.

Mrs. Winington

A graduate of St. Thomas Aquinas College, Mrs. Winington is in her second year at SSPJ School teaching 5th Grade. She has taught Kindergarten previously in New York City and here at SSPJ, play programs for toddlers, and Pharmacy to Post Secondary students.

 

ASSISTANTS

Mrs. Hillhouse

Mrs. Hillhouse is joining us as a Teacher Assistant Pre-K three days each week.

Mrs. Graziosi

Mrs. Graziosi will be back two days a week this year to assist Pre-K.

Mrs. Lawson

Mrs. Lawson is a graduate of Trenton State College. She continues with SSPJ as a Teacher Assistant for Kindergarten.

Mrs. Opdycke

Mrs. Opdycke is the Librarian in our Holy Family Library. Mrs. Patti

Mrs. Patti is going to work each morning as the teaching assistant in Grade 2.

 

SUPPORT STAFF

Mrs. Bruckman

Mrs. Bruckman is the Secretary at SSPJ in charge of Scrip orders, Tuition and general office needs.

Mrs. O'Hare

Mrs. O'Hare is our Transportation Coordinator and Secretary at SSPJ.

Mrs. Walter

Mrs. Lowman is our School Nurse Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays.

Mrs. McBride

Mrs. McBride is here for her second year as our School Nurse Mondays and Tuesdays.

Mrs. Warren

Mrs. Warren will continue with SSPJ as a substitue School Nurse.

Mr. Pilosi

Mr. Pilosi is the Guidance Counselor at SSPJ.

Father Antonio

Father is a member of the SPSJ Parish Staff and a Chaplain for SSPJ.

Father Robert
