The geographical distribution of the students who attend Saints Philip and
James School lends a unique complexion to the entire school.
During this 2007-2008 school year, transportation to SSPJ is provided by
the following school districts:
Greenwich Township
Alpha/Pohatcong/Delaware Heights
Areas of Warren Hills
Harmony/White Township/Lopatcong
If you have any questions
regarding your particular school district, please do not hesitate to contact
our transportation coordinator.
If a family
lives in New Jersey and within a 30-mile radius of SSPJ, and their school
does not provide busing, they are eligible to apply for a transportation
reimbursement from the State of New Jersey.
For the 2006-2007 school year, this reimbursement amount was $824.
per student.
An application for Private School Transportation (‘B6T’ form) needs to be
completed annually as part of the registration or re-registration process. This is included in your transportation packet.
The completed applications need to be returned to the SSPJ office so they
can be forwarded to the public school districts for the upcoming school year.
This information is used to determine bus routs vs. reimbursements which are determined by each individual sending school district.
If you live in Lopatcong and more than 2 miles from SSPJ and/or have a child in Kindergarten, you may be entitled to receive reimbursement
in lieu of transportation.
