This year our school carnival was held from Wednesday, April 30 through Sunday, May 4, 2008.
Dress Down Day
All students whose parent(s) volunteer at the Carnival will be entitled to a "Dress Down Day." The date will be announced next week. Watch the newsletter for that important date!
Student Talent Show
A special thank you to all the children that performed at the Carnival! Each year one of the highlights of our carnival is having the children from our school show their talents. Our student talent show was held on Thursday night and all of the children that performed did a fantastic job. A special thank you goes out to Miss Thomas and Miss Spence for their assistance.
Business Sponsorships
We are asking the families of our school to speak to their employers about considering being a SSPJ Carnival Sponsor. (Look for information forthcoming here and in the weekly packet.)
Family Sponsorships
We are also offering a SSPJ Family Sponsorship Program. These sponsorships help offset the costs incurred by the Carnival. (Look for information forthcoming here and in the weekly packet.)

All schedules have been sent home. If you did not receive your schedule, please call Mrs. Kucinski at
school.

Wristbands
Rides all day for $25.00! Thursday, 6-10 PM; Saturday, Noon-5 PM; Sunday, Noon-6 PM.
Reminder:
Every family that volunteers at least 25 hours during the school year will have their name put in a drawing for free tuition for the 2008-09 school year. If you need more hours, here is your chance! Call Mrs. Kucinski at school and work more hours at the Carnival!
No Homework! Thank You Teachers!
There will be no tests or homework given during the Carnival! We hope that all of our students and their families will be able to come to the Carnival and enjoy themselves!
Raffle
Please send in your raffle tickets and donations as soon as possible.
Anyone in need of more tickets may call the school and leave a message for Mrs. Kucinski. Thank you!
