Scrip is an easy, cost free fundraiser that can be used in many different ways. It can help you budget your food dollars evenly throughout the month so that large trip to the market is pre-paid. The certificates are great, too, for birthdays, weddings and even housewarming gifts. Here's how it works...
Our HSA purchases gift certificates for a number of establishments at a discount - often as much as 5%. That means a $100 certificate costs the HSA $95. Your family then purchases that $100. Gift certificate for $100. and the HSA earns a profit of $5. It costs you nothing and it's that simple.
Scrip order forms are sent home in the weekly packet, so why not give it a try if you are not already hooked! Keep in mind that most order sent into school with your child are filled and returned the same day. Scrip is also available for sale every day in the cafeteria at dismissal time. If you are expecting to send in a large order of $1,000 or more, please contact Barbara Bruckman (in the school office) in advance to avoid any delay.
