How May We Serve?
Our Special Concerns Committee is looking to serve families that may benefit from receiving a meak, having errands run or being
remembered in prayer. If you know of anyone in our school family that can use assistance due to giving birth, illness, surgery,
or accident, we would appreciate you reaching out to us. Please contact Mrs. Perna by phone or email.
Car Magnets for Sale!
If you are interested in purchasing the large, oval gray and blue SSPJ magnets, there are additional ones for sale. Just drop a note
into the HSA mailbox in the office, attention Mrs. Hilliard, with your name and $5.
Denim Day Proceeds
Student Council is happy to announce that our school raised exactly $325.00 worth of donations on Denim Day for the St. Peter's Breast Cancer

Fundraising News
Gertrude Hawk Chocolates fundraiser will start today, Wednesday,
October 31 and will end Wednesday, November 14, 2007. The profit to family is 40%. If you have any questions, please call Mrs.
Halm. Thank you for your continued support.
Please remember to pick up your Genevieve's fundraiser on Thursday, November 8 after school and between 6-7:30 PM. Remember we do
have the cakes/pretzel kits that will need to be picked up in a timely manner.
Our total profit to our school for the Genevieve's fundraiser was $6,713.39. Thank you to all our families for supporting this
fundraiser. What a great success!

The Living Rosary
The Living Rosary was held on Friday, October 26. What a beautiful
job the children did depicting the Rosary. Thank you to Deacon Bill and all the children who participated.
Picture Day
A great, big thank you to Mr. Scott, Mrs. Caprio and Mrs. Armagno
for spending a full day at school to make sure our children gave their very best smiles on picture day. We truly appreciate your
generosity of heart. Also, thanks to lifetouch for doing their usual fabulous job. God bless!
Only 31 Days Until SSPJ's Breakfast With Santa
It is less thank five weeks until Santa arrives on December 1 and
it's time to start making that list and checking it twice...
An order form for tickets for Breakfast with Santa is enclosed in this week's newsletter. Please fill it out and return with payment
(made payable to SSPJ HSA) to the school as soon as possible and no later than Wednesday, November 28. Place your order form with payment to
SSPJ HSA in an envelope clearly marked with "Breakfast with Santa." Tickets will be sent to you through your child's take-home folder.
If anyone has gently used Christmas decorations that they would like to donate to help us transform the Cafeteria into a winter
wonderland, please contact Mr. & Mrs. Morris by phone or email. We'll come to
you to pick up whatever you can spare.

This year we will be extending an open invitation to the decorating "Party" on Friday, November 30 from 7-9 PM to all parents who
would like to jump-start their Christmas spirit. It is amazing what we can do to that cafeteria if we work together!
SSPJ Breakfast with Santa & Santa's Workshop
Saturday, December 1, 2006 - 2 sessions available to accomodate
your schedule - 7:30 AM-9:30 AM and 9:30 AM-11:30 AM - Santa will visit from 8-9 AM and 10-11 AM.
Enjoy all your breakfast favorites. Visit Santa's Workshop where children can purchase gifts for family and friends for $10 or less
(giftwrapping provided at no extra cost). "Elves" will be available to help kids with crafts. Framed photos with Santa will be available
for $4 each.
Please fill out the form in your packet and send in your ticket requests to school with payment no later than Wednesday, November
28. There is no limit on how many tickets you can buy! Family and friends are welcome! Tickets will NOT be sold at the door -

Would you consider volunteering for CLW next year?
The CLW Committee is seeking volunteers to help usher the children to and from the Chapel, lead the children in prayer, read the Gospel
and readings and lead a Gospel reflection. You participate in the role you choose and feel most comfortable.
Anyone who has made their Confirmation is invited to join us. The Liturgies are designed for children in grades 3-5 and are celebrated
at the 9 AM Mass on Sunday.
If you are interested in learning more or volunteering for CLW, please contact Mrs. Hillhouse or tear off the bottom portion of the
form in your packet and place it in the collection basket. This is a ministry of St. Philip & St. James Church.
Holiday Wreath and Grave Blanket Sale
Once again the HSA is sponsoring a Wreath and Grave Blanket sale.
This sale begins now through November 24. Please use the order form from your packet and submit with payment. Act quickly! Due to
order and delivery deadlines, no orders will be accepted after the November 24 deadline! The wreaths come with a choice of plaid or
burgundy bow and are priced at $17. The grave blankets are beautifully decorated and come in two sizes: small for $17 and deluxe for
$25. There will be two pick up times: Friday, November 30 from 3 PM to 7 PM and Saturday, December 1 from 10 AM to 12 PM. Any questions,
