RULE #16 -- "ALL HOMEWORK WILL BE TURNED IN EACH DAY FOR EACH SUBJECT BY EACH STUDENT"

"This rule helps students to develop a command of the written language. It helps them learn to develop and organize their thoughts, especially when the questions require a short but thought-out answer. As adults, we are used to deadlines, due dates, and the pressure of being on time. When we talk to the students about their work and what is required of them, we approach it from the standpoint that the work is part of the students' job. We want them to learn to be on time and proficient at a young age."

WE'RE SO PROUD...

...Four of our former students from Sts. Philip & James School have become members of the National Honor Society at Bethlehem Catholic High School. These students from our elementary school met with NHS's stringent criteria for scholarship, leadership, service and character, and were inducted this fall. AWESOME! OUTSTANDING!

HSA Meeting - Internet Safety

We are once again focusing on Internet safety during the first HSA meeting scheduled for Wednesday, November 8 at 7PM. Guest speaker Detective Michael Tansey will provide the very valuable insight, coaching, and advice as he has in the past to help all families effectively and, more importantly, safely use the Internet.
He will explore general Internet safety, information pertaining to online predators, and how we all can keep our children safe. Detective Tansey is personally driven to keep children safe as he looks out for his own children and, fortunately for us, has also adopted the children of SSPJ. The evening will prove to be an enlightened, educational experience as Detective Tansey provides tools and suggestions to keep your children safe. Since online predators are finding new ways to exploit your children, this seminar is worthy of your attendance even if you have attended it in the past.
The NJ High Tech Crime Unit requests that no children attend the presentation due to the sensitive nature of the material that will be presented.
Therefore, babysitting will be provided by the older students of SSPJ with Mrs. Sena. Please add the number of children and ages with your RSVP in the packet.
