ADVENT SERVICE

Congratulations to our wonderful 8th grade who led us in prayer so beautifully for our Advent service.
Their presentation was a wonderful expression of their growing maturity. They truly are our "seniors" who are a shining example to all our lower grade students. I am so proud of all of you.
Mrs. Picinich

GERALD R. FORD

On Tuesday, January 2, 2007, at 10:30 a.m., we stopped what we were doing and said a prayer for our 38th President, Gerald R. Ford. May his soul and all the souls of the faithfully departed rest in peace.

REMINDER

In days we celebrate Mass, all students are to wear school dress uniforms. If your child has gym on a day we have Mass, he/she may wear sneakers with their school dress uniform.

RULE #36

"HOLD THE DOOR OPEN FOR THE NEXT PERSON."
"Teaching children small acts of kindness, such as letting someone else go through a door first as they hold it open, may seem insignificant but it can go a long way towards helping other children realize hoe to respect and appreciate others."
-RON CLARK-

How to help your children deal with intimidation
and
Not to become an intimidator

The HSA is sponsoring Tom Leston on Januray 24 at 7PM to speak about bullying and intimidation. He is a NJ counselor, author, and coach with great experience working through difficult situations. The program will focus on how, as parents, we can provide tools to help our children face peers. It will be an informative and interactive evening.
