Happy New Year!

In this time our thoughts turn to how we can touch and be touched,
Love and be loved,
Forgive and be forgiven,
Heal and be healed
So that the goodness of our lives
become a shared blessing.
May God be with you each and every day of 2008.

Congratulations Mrs. Sena!

Thank you again to everyone -- it was a GREAT SUCCESS!
Mrs. Opdycke

Poster Contest!

The Warren County Soil Conservation District will be sponsoring a 2008 conservation poster contest around the theme "Water is Life."
Please submit all entries, all grade levels, to Ms. Graham by March 7.
The contest details are spelled out in the weekly packet and on the weekly science page. It is very important that all participants take note of the section entitled "Local District Rules," as the rules vary from district to district. Each student is allowed only one entry. The entries need to be pre-judged at the school and only six selected entries in each age group will be forwarded on to the WCSCD for final consideration. The winners from the District level will then be forwarded to the State for consideration and the State winners forwarded to the Nationals.
The brochure is available as a printable PDF on the District web site. If you need more information, please refer to the "Useful Links" on the "Rousources" page of the brochure (also provided on the weekly science page) or call our office (908)852-2579.
We sincerely look forward to receiving many creative entries from the children at your school.
