STATIONS OF THE CROSS
On Fridays, during Lent, we remember how Jesus
suffered by making the Stations of the Cross. The Passion of Jesus continues to speak to the hearts of
believers. The Stations of the Cross is one way of meditating on Jesus' passage through death to life. The
following is a prayer you can say before The Stations of the Cross:
"Dear Jesus, who died to save me, I am here to remember your great love for me. I am sorry for the
times I have not returned your love. May these Stations of the Cross open my heart more and more to your gifts of love."
SAFETY REMINDER
The yellow lined area of our road (in front of the main entrance) is a FIRE ZONE. Parking is prohibited at all times (even after school and evening hours.) Please only park in designated parking spaces as fines may be levied.

Don't forget!!! Terra Nova testing starts March 8th! Make sure your child is well rested and ready to go!
GERTRUDE HAWK FUNDRAISER
Don't forget--Gertrude Hawk order forms are due TODAY, WEDNESDAY, FEBRUARY 28TH. Estimated pickup date is Monday, March 19th.
Carnival News!
This year's carnival will be held Wednesday, May 2, 2007 through Sunday, May 6, 2007. Pre-Sale
tickets will be on sale in April. Wristband Days will be Thursday all evening, Saturday 12-5PM and Sunday 12-6PM.
Business sponsorships: We are asking the families of our school to speak to their employers about considering being a SSPJ
Carnival Sponsor. Information has been provided in your weekly packet. Questions - call Mrs. Kucinski.
Family Sponsorships: We are also offering a SSPJ Family Sponsorship program. These sponsorships help offset the costs incurred
by the carnival. Information has been provided in your weekly packet. Questions - call Mrs. Kucinski.
Volunteers: We will need approximately 75-85 volunteers for each shift of the Carnival. We ask that you please mark your
calendar now so that you will be able to help with this important event! Volunteer forms will be going home in March.
