LENT

Toward the end of Lent, you can use Scripture passages about Jesus' sufferings. You can pray over each one a few verses at a time. Slowly read the part you have chosen and try to picture the scene. Think of who Jesus is and why He was suffering. You can ask him: "Jesus, how did you feel when this happened?" Put yourself in Jesus' place. How would you have acted? How did Jesus act?
After spending some time with these thoughts, ask: "Jesus, how can I imitate you when things go wrong? How can I thank you for loving me so much?"
You might think of some special ways to show your love for Jesus. End your prayer with a promise about these, and a short prayer of thanks.

WITH DEEPEST SYMPATHY

We regret to inform you of the passing of William Veal, Ms. Veal's father. Please keep Ms. Veal and her family in your prayers. Eternal rest grant unto him, Oh Lord and may perpetual light shine upon him.

RULE #54
"NO MATTER WHAT THE CIRCUMSTANCES, ALWAYS BE HONEST."

"CARPE DIEM. YOU ONLY LIVE TODAY ONCE, SO DON'T WASTE IT."
"Life is made up of special moments...when people take action and seize the day. How wonderful it would be to live an entire life with freedom to try new things, experience the unknown, and face our fears."
-RON CLARK-
