LENT
Toward the end of Lent, you can use Scripture
passages about Jesus' sufferings. You can pray over each one a few verses at a time. Slowly
read the part you have chosen and try to picture the scene. Think of who Jesus is and why He
was suffering. You can ask him: "Jesus, how did you feel when this happened?" Put yourself in
Jesus' place. How would you have acted? How did Jesus act?
After spending some time with these thoughts, ask: "Jesus, how can I imitate you when things go
wrong? How can I thank you for loving me so much?"
You might think of some special ways to show your love for Jesus. End your prayer with a
promise about these, and a short prayer of thanks.

Please help the third grade with a special project. We are in
need of many empty Pringles Potato Chips cans. (Regular, 6 oz. size) If you have any, we would greatly appreciate it! Thank you!
