Basket Bonanza Committee Needs You!

We are once again focusing on internet safety during the first HSA meeting scheduled for Wednesday, November 8th. Guest speaker Detective Michael Tansey will provide the very valuable insight, coaching, and advice as he has in the past to help all families effectively, and more importantly, utilize the internet. He will explore general internet safety, information pertaining to online predators, and how we all can keep our children safe. Detective Tansey is personally driven to keep children safe as he looks out for his own children and fortunately for us, has also adopted the children of SSPJ. The evening will prove to be an enlightened, educational experience as Detective Tansey provides tools and suggestions to keep your children safe. Since online predators are finding new ways everyday to exploit our children, this seminar is worthy of your attendance even if you have attended in the past.

I'M LOOKING YOU STRAIGHT IN THE EYE, RULE #2
-Ron Clark

This year in an endeavor to support better manners and mannerisms, you will find one of Ron Clark's, "The Essential 55", rules gifted in our news letter. We will share numerous ideas that are suitable to our children.
We ask that as we pursue these behaviors at school from our entire community, you at home try to use and discuss the importance of each on a personal basis. Perhaps relating how a particular behavior has impacted you to the positive. Or the lack of a behavior has caused a lasting poor impression.
For those of you interested in his book, it is a Hyperion publication.

CONGRATULATE A WINNER, RULE #3
