What can I send with my child for his/her birthday?
Please see classroom teacher for specific details about classroom celebrations.
Any snacks sent in to the school must be
individually wrapped by the manufacturer with nutritional information provided.

How does the PowerSchool lunch account work?
* Accounts are created per child - please write the names of each child who should be credited with lunch money on your check or envelope to
avoid any confusion.
* Parents may request a limit on what students may purchase at any time.
* Milk, juice and water are valid PowerSchool purchases - all students may charge a drink if needed.
* Second Entrees are valid purchases.
* Snacks are not valid PowerSchool purchases at any time.
* Parents are responsible for all student purchases on PowerSchool.
* Parents may request a current transaction report from the main office.
* Your email address should be provided in the 'alerts' section of PowerSchool so you can receive a balace alert from PowerSchool when the account drops below $10.
I haven't received any balance alerts from PowerSchool. Is that a problem?
As long as your email is provided and 'balance alerts' are checked, you should receive the alert shortly after the account falls below $10. If you have been sending in lunch money periodically, you may not need a balance alert. If you have not received an alert and have not sent in money, please check your email in PowerSchool and the frequency of the emails. There is a check box to 'send alert now' that should be available at any time. You are always welcome to call the main office or email pshelp@spsj.org to request the current lunch balance in the account.
