The parish office is open from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM each weekday and after hours by appointment. The office staff is able to assist you with requests for registration, changes of address, masses, baptismal certificates, and other ordinary things.
The
Parish Council is the primary consultative body in the parish. The purpose of
the Council is to advise the pastor in all areas of parish life and to provide
vision and direction with the pastor. It sets policies and oversees the
operations of the parish. The Council meets in the Parish Center at 7:00 PM on
the third Tuesday of each month. The meetings are open to all parishioners.
There are fifteen elected members of the
Parish Council. Any registered parishioner is eligible and elections are held
the second Sunday in May.
Besides the Saint Anne School Board and Saint Mary High School representative, the Parish Council operates through the following standing committees:
· Activities Works to bring the parish community together in friendship.
· Building and Maintenance Assures the good condition of all parish properties.
· Communication Provides ways of keeping parishioners informed of happenings in the parish.
· Finance Assists the Pastor in the financial affairs of the parish.
· Liturgy Plans and coordinates the liturgies as well as recruiting and training the liturgical ministers.
· Outreach Reaches out to all parishioners with love and concern, attentive to their special need.
· Personnel Assures that parish employees are treated fairly.
· Religious Education Evangelization Recommends, promotes and evaluates the religious education programs for the parish.
· Stewardship Plans and promotes opportunities for parishioners to effectively use their unique gifts of time, talent and treasurers.
