Music Ministry Director of Music: Ms. Marcia Muir
Children'S Choir: Our children's choir is a group of children, grades 2 - 5, who love to sing praise to the Lord! They meet twice a month on Thursday afternoons from 2:45-3:30 in the Old School Hall. The liturgy that they sing at is on Sunday mornings at 10:30. Please come and join us!!! High School: Our high school students join together on Sunday evenings at 7:30 and provide music for that liturgy. They rehearse every other week on Thursday nights. The group is made up of singers, as well as drums, flute, bass and keyboard. Please join us! Festival Choir: If you love to sing but don't have the time to commit to a weekly choir, this is the group for you! This choir sings only 3 times a year; Holy Week, Midnight Mass and Confirmation, with rehearsals a few weeks before the Liturgy. If you have a desire to sing, no matter what experience you have or don't have, please join us. All adults are encouraged and most welcome. Watch the bulletin for details. Contemporary Choir: On Sunday evenings at the 6:00 Liturgy, this particular group of soloists and instrumentalists provide music after their rehearsal at 5:00 in the Upper Church. This choir provides music weekly except for the 4th Sunday of the month. All adults who are interested in singing music with a contemporary theme, please consider joining us! Instrumentalists: If you have been given the gift of playing an instrument, why not come and share it with others! All instrumentalists are invited and encouraged to come forward and share their talents. If you are interested in any of these music ministries, please call our music director at 438-0960. |
