Welcome back to a new year of religious education at Saint Patrick Parish! We're excited to be part of your child's continuing faith formation!

Registration

If you find a bright pink note in the mailing then we have not received your registration renewal forms. We need the updated registration as soon as possible, particularly the yellow emergency contact card.
Religious Education is open to all children of Saint Patrick Parish regardless of ability to pay.

Classroom Assignments

Classroom assignments will be posted on the first day of class, so please arrive a few minutes early to locate your child's name and locate their classroom.

Attendance

If your child will be absent please call the Religious Education Office at 781.438.1093. We expect that missed lessons and worksheets will be done at home. In the interest of your child's safety, we will be calling if your child is absent and we have not heard from you.

Sharing Faith With My Family

Grades 1 through 6 textbooks have a SHARING FAITH page at the end of every chapter. This review of the lesson offers additional activities and discussion ideas to keep parents involved in their child's faith formation.
Grade 7 students receive a handout at each session for parents that summarizes the lesson. Please take a few minutes and review this information with your child.

A word about respect

We are here to help you guide your child on their faith journey. But our time with them is very short and precious. To provide the best learning experience possible, we expect all students to be respectful of each other and their Catechists. Disrespectful behavior will be reported to parents immediately via a phone call and a parent will be required to accompany their child to the next class session. Please review this policy with your child/children.

Arrival/Departure

When arriving, drive down the ramp and either park or drop your child off at the corner door of the new school (door closest to the rectory). Dismissal will follow the same procedure.

Early Dismissal

If your child must leave class before the regular dismissal time, please send a note with your child before class begins. Students will be dismissed from the office and must have a note from their parents.
