Ministry of Prayer List for May 2008

  1. For the effectiveness of Pope Benedict XVI message as he calls our Nation to respect all human life.
  2. For Bishop David Zubik to be guided by the Holy Spirit as he guides us during this New Pentecost.
  3. For Reverend Donald Breier and the success of St. Paul Cathedral Parish share drive.
  4. For the Shanghai Diocese as they celebrate the 400th anniversary of Catholicism in their region.
  5. For 34 yr. old Sr. Nuzrat Shaff's who was attacked and her throat slashed in Pakistan.
  6. For the success of the Pittsburgh Diocesan workshop for Natural Family Planning.
  7. For Bishop's, Priests, Religious, Deacon's, Seminarians, Teachers and students.
  8. For my daughter CLW to obtain the new position she is seeking which would help to minimize her anxiety attacks.
  9. That the growth behind my right knee will disappear without surgery since surgery is risky.
  10. For my Mother Virginia, who is agnostic, to be touched by God's mercy.
  11. That AVD will be able to forgive his bother and repair family relationships.
  12. For salvation and repentance for Roy, Lucy, Greg, Donna, Stella, John, Vernie, Marie, and Daniel.
  13. That AGR will find a job and be able to support her two children.
  14. For physical healing.
  15. That I find a job.
  16. That FMB and JRD can forgive each other and heal their relationship.
  17. That my settlement comes through.
  18. For Vincent as he continue his struggles to overcome his addictions.
  19. That RRR will get a job and be able take care of his two children.
  20. That Michelle can overcome employment discrimination and receive a job interview.
  21. For good health and strength for RRR and AGR.
  22. That JAD will accept medical help and return to the sacraments.
  23. For Nancy Kelly, RCIA Director, as she teaches the newly initiated Catholics through 'mystagogy'.
  24. For the Catholic Pharmacists Society to be spiritually and professionally successful.
  25. That my unemployment comes through.
  26. That MNR and MTR will grow close to Jesus and be happy, safe, healthy, and strong.
  27. For salvation and repentance for Bob, Elaine, Heather, Bruce, Jack, Michael, Ed, and David.
  28. That Donna’s surgery will be successful.
  29. That Jenn’s family will find peace and happiness.
  30. For the recovery of Karen’s father.
  31. For John’s health.
  32. For my Mother Alice.
  33. For my son, Michael, to continue living in Pittsburgh since I need him here.
  34. For Karen who is in a coma due to a hit and run accident.
  35. That JS will get the help needed to pay for his legal defense.
  36. For Meineed to have a successful surgery and recovery will be free of complications.
  37. That God will grant Maria Luisa good health.
  38. For Domingo N. that God heals his illness.
  39. For all our friends that are expecting babies and that their pregnancies and deliveries will be good.
  40. For all mothers in this month of May to receive the wisdom of our Heavenly Mother Mary.
  41. That my sister Theophane will feel God's healing hand.
  42. For my Grandson Ray who has a mass on his kidneys and pancreas to be healed.
  43. For Carol H., who had throat surgery, that her therapy will be successful.
  44. That Michael H's shoulder surgery and therapy will be successful.
  45. For Bob H's prostrate surgery to restore him to good health.
  46. That I can be the Mother to my 2 year old son that God intended me to be.
  47. For all drug addicts and alcoholics who are sick and suffering to feel God's healing hand.
  48. That I can be successful in getting hired for the job I interviewed for on April 10.
  49. For BS and GN to be granted the light to discover their vocations and to have the courage to follow God's will.
  50. For the end to the many water problems in my life and to get the help needed to solve them.
  51. That Doctor Mark Miller will be blessed as he does his work.
  52. That I can find my place in the church and in the realm of healing work.
  53. For all veterans returning home to be provided with help from care providers, clergy and Family members.
  54. For the National Family Planning Promoters to be successful in dispensing information.
  55. That with God's help I can be the daughter and sister that I was intended to be.
  56. For my 8 month old daughter who has health problems to feel God's healing hand.
  57. For Eileen S. to feel God's healing hand.
  58. That God will grant eternal happiness to all my deceased Family.
  59. For protection from Roy, Lucy, Greg, Rob, Frank, Mike, Kelly, Heidi, Rob and Jason.
  60. For Dorothy's niece, Mary Beth, to be blessed with good health.
  61. For Joe's wife, Helen, who has Alzheimer.
  62. That I get a new job.
  63. For Irene's brother Robert, who is suffering with an inflamed stomach, that he gets some relief.
  64. For the relief of the poor souls in purgatory.
  65. For Nick's Family to be comforted by Our Lord as they grieve their Dad.
  66. That Our Lord will completely heal Joe D.
  67. That I have success with EEOC cases.
  68. For my health, wisdom, peace and financial restoration.
  69. That my son Michael will not move to California. I need him here.
  70. That Irene's bleeding ulcer will heal.
  71. That Dolores F. will be successful in selling her home.
  72. That Kathy's third surgery on her knee will be successful.
  73. That everything will be fine at the moment of the delivery of Christine’s son.
  74. For the physical, emotional and financial well-being of my son and his family.
  75. For D.L. to obtain more steady employment in music ministry.
  76. That Christ's healing hands will continue to bless L. with a full recovery from the removal of her colon.
  77. May it be God's will that breast cancer will be cured for L.T.'s mother, and comforting touch on L.T. during this difficult time.
  78. May a Mercy Hospital patient continue to recover from open-heart surgery.
  79. May God shower my daughter with His richest blessings and me with His comfort in my belief that my daughter hates me.
  80. For Don’s health.
  81. For Tim and Karin's marriage.
  82. For our military men and women to be safe.
  83. That Max will have cooperation and assistance to complete high school and get a diploma.
  84. For the poor souls in Purgatory.
  85. For Barry to get job training as a journeyman electrician.
  86. For the consecration of Russia to the Immaculate Heart of Mary.
  87. That Michelle will be able to relocate and get an offer of employment in Human Resources.
  88. For Harold to get good results.
  89. That Jackie will get employment as a Restaurant Manager.
  90. For Erwin who needs prayers.
  91. That I will get help with my serious financial problems.
  92. That Christopher will get his high school diploma and be able to become a teacher.
  93. For Justine who is in Iraq.
  94. That Mark, who has two kids, will become employed.
  95. For peace, happiness, and strength for M.
  96. For Grandpa J to continue to recover.
  97. For J to overcome his health battle and recover fully.
  98. For unity, strength, and God's grace for S & J.
  99. Prayers for Jean Marie, Kathy, and Stephanie Lukatich.
  100. May the souls of MAS & AI rest in peace and may God provide their families & friends with comfort and consolation.
  101. For healing for JD and Family... Parkinson, tumor, aneurysm, blood clot, deafness.
  102. For all those in Kane, Children's, Mercy, and VA Hospitals.
  103. For Father Thomas Burke as he begins as the Pastor of Good Shepherd Parish in May.
  104. For Martin who has back and stomach pain to make the right medical decisions.
  105. For healing for Dave who has lung cancer.
  106. For Nursing and Hospice Homes and Caregivers.
  107. For all our service men and women - living and deceased.
  108. For the repose of the soul of Grace Kelly Stevenson.
  109. For Virginia D. to be completely healthy.
  110. For Bill who is suffering from cancer, to feel God's healing hand.
  111. For Michael to get a permanent position at his job.
  112. For Donna and her Family as they deal with her drug addictions.
  113. For Melinda and her boys.
  114. For Bill's Family to have courage, and may their faith sustain them during their trials.
  115. That Michelle can get an offer of employment in Business Science.
  116. That Barry Odoski will be cured of his cancer.
  117. For my Aunt Anna to be healed and comforted.
  118. That M will find peace in her faith in God, and will always know that God loves and protects her.
  119. For healing for Norma, Winifred and Maria Elena.
  120. For the repose of the soul of Nick Fetchin.
  121. For the healing of Dolores's sister-in-laws, Marge, Helen and Eileen.
  122. For Dave to continue his hard work and diligence in his endeavors for success.
  123. For Mike and Barb, for a successful completion to a difficult solution.
  124. For our Family intentions, health of our Family, and a Catholic wedding.
  125. For Barbara and her Family to find comfort and solace in their faith as they go through difficult times.
  126. May the Lord grant Sr. Veronica strength, health, guide and wisdom in her trials.
  127. For Sr. DM, that God grants her patience and wisdom.
  128. For my Dad, Mario, to feel God's blessings during his time of testing.
  129. For the safe delivery for Karen's baby on May 5 via Caesarean.
  130. For my husband Eugene who is in stage 4 with cancer.
  131. For our adopted baby Azia who has lymphoma.
  132. For my parents to stop their domestic violence.
  133. That I can get protection from Bruce.
  134. For my Mother Sarah Pegher to have eternal peace.
  135. For Skip B's open heart surgery to be successful and that Skip will recover completely.
  136. For Dolores sister Helen.
  137. That Lucille Cantini will rest in peace with Our Lord.
  138. For the intentions of Chuck.
  139. That the Russo family can get out of financial debt.
  140. For prisoners at ACJ and their Families.
  141. That Peter M. will overcome his addiction to coffee since it has affected his health.
  142. For Sr. Thaddeus who will have hip surgery on May 8.
I thank my loving and patient Lord that my husband seems to be seeking a closer walk with Jesus.
A prayer of thanksgiving that my husband's recent hospital stay was brief and his recovery from cellulites is almost complete.
