The RCIA process, the Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults, is the worldwide program that invites those searching for answers, gives them answers about the Catholic faith, and supports those inquirers through prayer and presence. This program is sponsored by the St. Paul Cathedral Parish and the Oratory. Beginning on September 11, catechetical sessions will be held on Tuesday evenings at the Oratory. Both the Cathedral and the Oratory staffs will participate in these sessions. The liturgical and sacramental rites of the RCIA will take place in the Cathedral. All are welcome. There is no cost to participants but their time, and there is no obligation. Faith is God's free gift, and participants are free to see if God is calling them to membership in the Catholic Church.

Everyone is important in the task of evangelization. Everyone can help by inviting someone you know to "come and see." Everyone can help through prayers of support and the example you give. For information about the RCIA program, please call Nancy Kelly or Fr. Tom Burke at the Cathedral rectory (412.621.4951, x 13), or email Nancy Kelly at nkelly3899@msn.com.
