2008-2009 SCHOOL YEAR

First day of school……………..August 14, 2008

SCHOOL UNIFORMS: Our school uniforms may be purchased at School Time, 8814 Veterans Blvd., Metairie, LA, Suite 11-12

On Tuesday, July 30 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM School Time will have a shopping day at school in the cafeteria.

USED UNIFORM SALE: All summer from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM in the cafeteria used uniforms will be resold to those wishing to purchase them. Please see Ms. Bev during day care.

SCHOOL SUPPLIES: Your child's supply list (except for PreK/K) is attached to this packet. Students are required to have all items when school begins.

SCHOOL RECORDS: If we have requested any information for your child's records (birth certificate, baptismal, etc.) please see to it that we have them before the end of the school year.

SUMMER DAY CARE: 7a.m.-6p.m. Students must bring their own lunch and snacks. $10.00 for one child; $12.00 two or more children.

HANDBOOK OF SCHOOL POLICIES: Students in grades 2-8 must purchase an Agenda which contains the Handbook of School Policies either at the uniform sale on July 30, or on the first day of school. Please sign and return the verification permission form in the back of the book on the first day of school.

PLEASE NOTE: No dyed, bleached, frosted, high-lighted, sun bleached, etc. hair colors are permitted.

SHOES: Students in PreK-1 must wear completely black tennis shoes with Velcro closure; all other grades must wear black tennis shoes with laces or Velcro. Laces should be made of a material that will stay tied securely, i.e. cotton. Laces should not be overlong.

SOCKS: Only white crew socks may be worn. (No short athletic socks.)
