Our Council was chartered on August 12, 2002,
the 150th birthday of Father Michael McGivney,
who founded the Knights of Columbus on March 29, 1882.
Thirty-eight of our forty-six charter members posed for
this photo on that day.

Our council includes eight sets of fathers and sons,
seven of them shown in the above photo.

Presentation of our Council Charter
On Saturday October 12, 2002 at the 5:00 PM Mass, our
Council Charter
was presented to us by officers of the New York State
Council.
After Mass, a dinner was held in the Parish Center with
Father Michael C. Hogan,
brother of the late Bishop Joseph L. Hogan, as our guest
speaker.
