Club
Join in on the fun. Enjoy the company of other senior citizens
aged 55 & older. Members gather for breakfast, bingo, cards and
informational speakers with topics of interest to seniors. Call

Flowers If anyone is interested in donating
fresh cut flowers for the altar or money for flowers, please call the
Rectory office Monday through Friday 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at 252-7297 All donations are greatly appreciated.

PASTORAL ADMINISTRATOR
INSTALLATION MASS
The installation of Deacon Gary DiLallo as Pastoral
Administrator has been announced by the
St. Francis/St. Hyacinth Pastoral Council, who
have selected a community Mass. The Mass will
be celebrated at 10:30 AM on Sunday, August
30th at St. Hyacinth Church, 61 Pulaski St.
A reception will be held at Father Nacca Hall,
St. Francis Church, 299 Clark Street, immediately
following the Mass.
This Mass will take the place of the 9:30 am &
11:00 am Mass at St. Francis and St. Hyacinth.
All parishioners and families are highly encouraged
to attend this special liturgy. Bishop Matthew
Clark will be presiding.
St. Francis of Assisi and St. Hyacinth Churches
Religious Education
• Religious Education Classes will begin on Tuesday,
• September 22, from 6:00-7:00p.m. for students who are in
grades K-6. Info on grades 7-8 will follow.
• Students must be enrolled in Religious Education or
Catholic School in order to receive Sacraments.
• All children must register by August 31 so that books and
materials can be purchased.
• If you are interested in registering, please use the registration
forms in the back of church or contact Ms. Owens at the
rectory office. The registration fee is $30 per child to cover
books and materials (maximum of $60 per family).
• Note: There are no longer Saturday classes. If your child
is unable to attend Tuesday evening classes, there is the option
of home study using materials provided, if you attend
Mass regularly

Take Note
We are aware of a growing number of people in
our community who have a sensitivity to the
wheat gluten found in the altar breads.
It is now possible to purchase hosts which are
gluten free. We would be happy to do this, if
there is a need in our cluster. If you would like
this option, please call the church office at 252-
7593 or 252-7297 and let us know. We can then
make arrangements for you to receive the proper
host.
Eucharistic Ministers needed
St. Hyacinth is seeking Eucharistic Ministers,
Lectors and Altar Servers. Anyone interested
please call the Parish Office at 252-7297 or
Tina Schmid at 253-7267.
Help Needed
Help is needed to decorate and maintain
the flowers in St. Hyacinth Church.

Note on Church EnvelopesAt this time of year, there are many
occasions when you may
find yourself attending weekend Mass at another parish in
the Auburn area.
Please take your church envelope along, and place
it in the collection basket. That church will send it along to
us, and your collection will be posted here, and become part
of your statement for taxes.
EUCHARISTIC ADORATION
The Eucharistic Adoration Chapel at St. Francis Church is
open Monday –Friday from 8:00-5:00 PM. Can you help
by signing up to pray for an hour or consider being a substitute?
We are in critical need of adorers for the following
hours.

Bible Study
St. Francis/ St. Hyacinth Cluster
Bible Study classes are held at 10 AM, Mondays, at
St. Hyacinth Parish Center.
Note: Bible Study, which meets each Monday at St. Hyacinth is on
vacation for the summer. They plan to resume the group in
September.
There are New Catholic Answer Bibles for sale at
St. Hyacinth Church, at the front entrance.
