Mass of Thanksgiving The
Auburn Catholic Community is celebrating a joint Mass of
Thanksgiving to be held at Saint Mary’s Church
at 9:30 a.m. on Thanksgiving morning, November 27, 2008. As this
years host church, Saint Mary’s is inviting members of the Auburn
Catholic faith community to join in giving thanks for our many
blessings.
Bible Blessing On November 30, 2008, the First Sunday of Advent, the priests will be blessing Bibles at all Masses at St. Francis and St. Hyacinth. You are encouraged to bring your Bible, new or old, and a special blessing will be said over them.
Masses and Memorials for 2009 We have now opened our Mass and Memorial Books for 2009. Please visit the parish office or call the secretary. Catholic Ministries Appeal for 2008/ 2009 is in progress. All registered parishioners

“PIEROGI” Custodial / Maintenance Position Opening Seeking adult candidates for a part-time position at St. Francis of Assisi Parish-Auburn (10-12 hours / week). Duties include cleaning & maintenance of buildings & grounds, snow removal, event set-ups & misc. duties. Some weekend hours may be required. Must be able to lift 50 pounds. Person needs to be self-motivated & able to identify preventive measures. The individual must be able to operate riding lawn mower & snow-blower.
