   CCD (Confraternity of Christian Doctrine) Teacher
Contact the Rectory at 402-362-4595, or Msgr. James Reinert 402-362-3021. Pre-school to 8th Grade meets Wednesdays at the school from 6:15 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. during the school year. The CCD program is offered to children who are not attending Catholic school. The curriculum is Christ-centered and includes education in Catholic beliefs, worship and morality.

   CCD Helper
Contact the Rectory at 402-362-4595 or Msgr. James Reinert 402-362-3021. Volunteers are needed to assist the CCD teachers in the classroom.

   Godparent Program
Contact the Rectory at 402-362-4595. Religious education for the youth in grades 9-12 which meets Wednesday evenings at the school or the home of the Godparent couple from 7:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Parents volunteer to be "Godparents" for a class throughout all four years of high school. They teach the youth one night a week during the school year, and are also involved in social activities with the youth.

   RCIA (Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults)
Contact the Rectory at 402-362-4595.  The RCIA consists of Catholic instruction classes held every Thursday 6:30 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. from September through May. RCIA also provides the opportunity for those Catholics who have not received the Sacrament of Confirmation to attend and receive preparation as needed. These classes are also an excellent opportunity for all Catholics to deepen their knowledge of the Catholic Faith on an adult level.

   RCIA Catechist
Any adult Catholic interested in being on the RCIA team and teaching some of the instruction classes.

   RCIA Parish Sponsor
A member of the parish committed to attending the RCIA classes with a candidate as well as developing an ongoing spiritual support system for the candidate throughout their life.

   RCIA Intercessor
Any member of the parish committed to pray and sacrifice for another specific member involved in the RCIA process such as a catechist or candidate. The intercessor need not attend any of the classes or even know necessarily for whom they are praying/interceding.

   RCIA Hospitality
Volunteers are needed to act as a host for the classes, providing refreshments and a quiet, comfortable atmosphere conducive for learning as well as babysitting services if needed.

   Emblems for Boys
Troop 174 offers the scouts in the troop the opportunity to earn the following awards:

These are available in the even number years, and require about 3 to 5 months to complete. Contact Bill Dunavan at 402-724-2239 for the Boy Scout awards or Dave Dickey at 402-362-5491 for the Cub Scout awards.

   Emblems for Girls
Girls enrolled in Girl Scouts, Junior Catholic Daughters of America, 4-H and other youth organizations are invited to participate in the Diocesan Religious Awards program. It is an additional way for young girls to grow deeper in their faith. Meetings and activities are held with mentors; families provide additional support in completion of workbook activities. Materials are available through the Family Life Office.
