   Greeters
Contact Maggie Kopsa at 402-362-6445. Men and women who volunteer to stand at the doors of the church to greet members of the parish and welcome newcomers and visitors as they enter for the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass on Sundays and Saturday evenings.

   Welcome New Parishioners
Contact Jeannie Huff at 402-362-3174. Volunteers are needed to visit new parishioners and others new to the community. They would educate the new members about our parish and encourage their involvement. They would help new parishioners become a parish family "friend" as quickly as possible.

   Parent Educator Program
Volunteers welcome newborn babies to St. Joseph Parish through a home visit.

   Transportation to Mass
Volunteers are needed to assist those in need of a means to attend Mass at St. Joseph Catholic Church.

   Visit the Sick/Homebound
Contact Charlene Boyle at 402-362-5772. Volunteers are needed to offer fellowship for those unable to attend Mass and other Parish functions.

   Pro-Life Activities Coordinator
A volunteer or group of volunteers are needed to help organize various Pro-Life Activities for our parish and be the liaison with the State Director, Greg Schleppenbach, of the Bishops' Pastoral Plan for Pro-Life Activities

   Prepare/Deliver Meals
Volunteers are needed occasionally to prepare and deliver meals to those in time of need (i.e. illness, death) among fellow parishioners or a community member.

   Funeral Dinner Worker
Volunteer workers are needed to help host and serve Funeral Dinners in our parish as a service to the family in their time of need.

   Donate Food for Funeral Dinner
Volunteers are needed to prepare and deliver food to the Mandeville Hall on the day of the funeral as a service to the family in their time of need.

   Meals on Wheels
Contact Carmen McKenny at 402-362-5069. Our parish is responsible for organizing this important service for members of our community one month each year.

   Calling Committee
Any member of the parish willing to help with making phone calls to other fellow parishioners when assistance is needed for a parish activity.

   CSA/DDP Worker
Any member of the parish willing to help with the annual Charity & Stewardship Appeal (formerly known as the Diocesan Development Program). This appeal takes place in all the parishes in the Diocese of Lincoln every May. This appeal is vital to our parish.

   Crossroads Tournament Volunteer
Volunteers are needed to help in many different areas in order to properly host the Volleyball Tournament in October and Basketball Tournament in January each year at the City Auditorium. Contact the Rectory at 402-362-4595.

   Fish Fry
Contact Bob Weiler at 402-362-7509. Volunteers are needed in many areas to hold the Fish Fry during the Fridays of Lent in Cullen Hall (the School Gym).

   Wedding Coordinator
A volunteer is needed to assist couples preparing for Marriage and their families with some of the logistics of the Wedding Ceremony at St. Joseph Church.

   Baptismal Garment
Contact Laurie Burns at 402-362-2136. Volunteers make the white baptismal garments which are given to each infant during the baptismal ceremony.

   Public Relations
Contact Elizabeth King at 402-736-4776. Volunteers would be responsible for correspondence with the local news media as well as our Diocesan paper, The Southern Nebraska Register.

   Provide Legal Expertise
Volunteers may be needed at times to offer their professional expertise whether in the area of law or any other area you may have. Please specify under Other on the Parish Gifts and Talents Survey if you would be willing to offer your professional expertise in any other area.

   Bulletin Stuffing
Volunteers are needed occasionally to help stuff inserts in the bulletin on a Friday afternoon or evening, or Saturday morning.

   Computer Data Entry
Volunteers may be needed on occasions to enter data into a database.

   Church Cleaning
Volunteers are needed to help keep our Church looking great, the 1st Saturday of every month after the morning Mass.

   Altar Flowers
Volunteers are needed at times to help decorate the Church.

   Pot O' Gold
A fund raiser is held each year consisting of a meal, silent auction and oral auction. The proceeds are used to benefit St. Joseph Catholic School. Contact the school office at 402-362-3021 to donate items or help with this event.

   Priest/Bishop Dinners
Volunteers are needed at times to help prepare and serve special dinners for visiting Priests and/or our Bishop during Lent and Advent, and when Confirmation is celebrated. Contact Cathi Murphy at 402-362-6200.
