Our Pastor is Reverend Dennis Settles. Father Settles, originally from Kankakee, graduated from St. Stanislaus School and Bishop McNamara High School. He was ordained a priest in May of 1965. Father has served in this area as pastor in Momence for nine years in the 1980's, then at St. Pius X in Lombard. He came to St. Martin's in September of 1992.
In September, 1999, Greg Clodi, after four years of study, was ordained as a Deacon. He assists Father at mass with homilies, administers marriage preparation programs, chairs the Worship Committee, visits the sick, and will be doing baptisms in the near future.
The Church secretary is Betty Clodi and Mrs. Devine.
Mrs. Clodi and her husband, Wayne, have been members of Saint Martin of Tours parish for 42 years. They have four children and eight grandchildren.
Mrs. Devine and her husband, Stephen, have been members of our parish for 30 years. They live in the Limestone area and have two children who are married.
Lana Magiera, St. Martin's Music Director, has been an organist since grade school. During high school she played the organ here at St. Martin's. She also played the organ at St. Mary's School of Nursing, filled in for 15 years at St. Joseph Church in Manteno before coming to St. Martin's. Lana plays for three masses on the weekend and oversees the Young People's Choir, Festival Choir and the Funeral Choir.
