St. Patrick's Co-Cathedral
St.
Patrick's Co-Cathedral is the mother church for the Yellowstone River
valley. With 600 families, ours is a friendly Catholic faith community
whose membership comes from all across the valley. St. Patrick's has
been calling people to prayer and Christian service since the first
settlers arrived. Open all day, every day, from 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.,
the church is part of the walking tour of historic downtown Billings.
It is handicapped accessible and guided tours are available by
appointment. We welcome you to our services or to visit our buildings.
Historic
St. Patrick's is a diverse, welcoming, Catholic community committed to
gathering as a sacramental family sharing our faith in ministry and
Christian service.
Weekly Reflection
We cannot claim to love God if we hate our neighbors, including those who may hate us and seek to do us harm. We love others not because they are so good or because they like us, but because God loves us just as we are. We all know that we are not very loveable at times and yet God still loves us. How can we who have received such unconditional love not treat others in the same way? We also have been told that God loves all his people, regardless of race, religion or status. If they are God’s beloved children, how can we treat them with anything less than love? This is hard. If we harbor hate in our hearts, we have little room left for love to grow.
Beloved, if God has loved us so, we must have the same love for one another. –1 John 4:11
